On your analytics, these views will appear as external traffic. A small percentage may be counted as direct traffic. In our tests, these views also triggered the algorithm on "dead" videos that had no views. As you can see, the video starts getting traffic from browse features or suggested videos! (This is more likely to happen on short videos)

Another thing we noticed is that similar videos on the channel (that did not receive any views from us) started getting suggested views unexpectedly (see screenshot above). This could be because of users coming from the campaign target video, or YouTube recommending other videos from the same channel.
